Swift and the Environment
Swift internal fleet of fork lifts and internal shunt vehicles are all running on bio diesel. Although a recent test of the bio diesel with our road fleet proved unsuccessful, Swift remain committed to decreasing our carbon foot print and are continually looking at new technologies to this end.
We continue to use software to optimise our routes and keep fuel usage to a minimum. We also utilise local services, which keeps delivery mileage to a minimum.

Swift's FSL service also helps many of our customers keep stock locally where it is needed, cutting down on long distance deliveries. Both reducing costs and carbon foot prints.
Swift can also offer a packaging removal service on delivery, with disposal in the most environmental sound way. Helping you and your customers comply with the WEEE Directive.
